It's been a long time DA. Especially since I've updated about my life, and even longer since I put any serious effort in any of my artwork. Empty promise after empty promise, unfulfilled hopes after unfulfilled hope, and shattered dream after shattered dream I've tried to put something more than sub-par, pseudo-"deep" poetry up here.

So, it is the summer season again, meaning I have no school. However, I was able to get my first job doing clerical in my mother's office, meaning I'm officially getting money. So, I can now buy art supplies and new albums, two, for which I've been waiting over five years, are slated to come out before the end of the year [one coming out this summer]. So, I am inspired. Also, I've been expanding my tastes into some more Funk and Nu.Soul as per usual, but more Underground Hip-Hop as well. One artist I've started spinning would be MF DOOM. He has a pretty fly discography and his co-album with Madlib, "Madvillainy" is certainly worth the buy.

I've started a few drawings for my soul this summer, I just need to get away from some distractions on weekends so I can express my soul. I have that so-so drawing of my soul up so far. I hope to do some more stuff relating to MF DOOM and Funk and nu.soul. We'll see what goes down.
