| Ἄργος ἄειδε θεά, πολυδίψιον ἔνθεν ἄνακτες... | I have been holding back from writing a post here for years, especially since I haven't uploaded any art in a decade. However, I figured that a decade is enough time since my last post, so I wanted to offer some updates and provide some creative trajectories for myself. My last post was made shortly after I applied to graduate school programs (for the first time) and tried to separate my future professional identity online from my creative/personal identity. In the course of that decade, I earned my Ph.D., formed enduring friendships, and felt the range of emotions that one feels in their 20s. As I enter this new phase of my life, I hope to revisit my creative springs. So much of my previous art was heavily influenced by the funk, blues, jazz, fusion, and prog. I was listening to, along with their album covers. I was further drawing on a sense of optimism surrounding the arts, but also uncertainty in my own life. I struggled to mine
